Denne artikel er kulminationen af mit arbejde med undersøgelse af Danmarks ugler, som begyndte omkring 1960. Jeg har også skrevet bogen, "Danmarks Ugler". Er udsolgt.
For første gang i Dansk Ornitologisk Forenings Tidsskrift publiceres her en status og fødevalg for alle ynglende uglearter i Danmark.
